Trainees gain practical skills in installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting for both domestic and industrial applications, preparing them for real-world job demands.
1. Electrical Fundamentals & Safety
Introduction to electricity, electrical safety precautions, basic electrical terms (work, power, energy), and measuring instruments.
2. Tools & Materials:
Use and maintenance of hand tools (fitting, carpentry), electrical materials, accessories, and sheet-metal work.
3. Wiring & Installation
Domestic, commercial, and industrial wiring methods, testing and installation techniques, illumination systems, and earthing.
4. Electrical Machines & Devices:
Study, repair, and maintenance of AC/DC machines, motors, chokes, coils, and transformers.
5. Electronics & Automation
Basics of electronics, circuit theory, amplifiers, oscillators, thyristors, op-amps, digital electronics, and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
6. Power Distribution
Concepts of generation, transmission, and distribution; types of substations; underground and overhead systems; UG/OH cable termination and testing
7. Advanced Applications
Rewinding of AC/DC motors and transformers, panel board design, voltage stabilizers, AC/DC drives, battery construction and servicing.
